Sara Barrett

I grew up in the area and graduated from Richland High School. I went on to study political science at Texas Christian University. I quickly discovered my calling was to be a stay at home wife and mother. I have three beautiful children and a husband who works hard to care and provide for his family. I have a servants heart and am always willing to help out my friends and family. I am very close to my family and believe in family fun days and adventures that bring us closer together. In my spare time I enjoy concerts, sporting events and working with the homeless. I have worked at Smithfield UMC for 15 years serving as a nursery worker and now as the nursery coordinator. I have enjoyed every minute of my time here.  It is my hope that I have created an atmosphere where the children look forward to coming to church and nurtured their spiritual growth. I believe I make a difference in the kids lives and I know they make a difference in mine.
